James Van Lommel founded Fire&Motion in 2009 to bring together his passions for programming, usability, photography, video, and art.
What began as a fortuitous placement in the then-experimental "Weblications" group at a Microsoft internship soon turned into his area of expertise as he finished up his B.S. in Computer Science from Cal Poly State University.
James enjoys applying the accumulated wisdom of a decade of lessons learned, continuous study, and industry experience to all the work that he does.
In 2011 Mark Stuckey joined as lead graphic designer, bringing years of print and web design experience to back James' technical knowledge.
Also a graduate from Cal Poly, Mark has a degree in Graphic Communication, a sharp eye for designs that are original, clean, and beautiful, and experience in industry that lets him quickly navigate everything from PhotoShop to print shops.
America faces its toughest economic climate in nearly a century – businesses have to do more with less resources. Those of us behind Fire&Motion offer a way forward: custom-crafted web sites and applications that quickly free up small businesses and their staff to do what's most important: be in business.
